Hat Head is the Ideal fishing village surrounded by Hat Head National Park and the best in pristine & unspoiledbeaches. The beaches, sand dunes, rainforest and wetlands offer an ideal backdrop for bushwalking and relaxing.
Launch your trailer boat from the creek side ramp with adjacent fish cleaning facilities also available – all onlya minute’s drive, just past the Bowling Club.
There are a lotof walking tracks to choose fromand visitors can also enjoy bird watching. Birdwatchers can look for black swans and spoonbills in the parks wetlands, hawks and eagles soaring above beach cliffs and shorebirds like curlews and plovers around the beach.
Hat Head National Park is a great place to go whale watching during the annual whale migration which takes place from June to November.
